1. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee a time for delivery, so please bear this in mind when placing your order.  We will certainly do our best to accommodate your request.

 

2. Not all of the cakes contain nuts, they are however prepared in a kitchen that contains nuts, so we are unable to guarantee that any of the cakes do not contain nuts.

 

3.Storage

 

All of our cakes taste best if eaten on the day of purchase.  If you want to keep them a little longer, place them in an airtight container and they should last for 2 to 3 days - DO NOT REFRIGERATE!!

 

Fresh cream cakes are best eaten on day of purchase and must be kept in a refrigerator.  Do not keep for more than 2 days.

 

Fruit cakes will keep for up to 3 months, if stored an an airtight container in a cool, dark place.

 

4. Deposits & Payments

 

Your order is not confirmed until a deposit has been paid.

 

If you place your order more than 2 weeks in advance a 50%, non-refundable deposit to be paid within 5 days (providing the 5 days still remains over the 2 week minimum).

 

If you place your order with less than 2 weeks notice, full, non-refundable payment is required within 3 days.

 

For cakes being delivered, the balance is due 2 days prior to delivery.

 

5. Pricing

 

Sponge cakes start from £35.00

 

Fruit cakes start from £45.00


Prices exclude fresh flowers and jewellery.  All cakes can be made in different sizes to suit your requirements.


Due to the variety of combinations of finish, size and shape, it is imposible to give a standard price.  Most of the price is made up of the time taken on the decoaration and finishing details.


6. Stand Hire


Cake and Cupcake stands are available to hire.


In addition  to the hire charge a refundable deposit is retained until the safe return of the stand within 4 days of the hire date.


Any stand that is not returned in the same condition or late will not have the deposit refunded.


7. Flavours & Fillings

 

Each cake is made to each customers specific requirements using one of the following:

 

    Fruit Cake (fed with Brandy)

 

    Vanilla Sponge

 

    Chocolate Sponge

 

    Lemon Sponge

 

    Carrot Cake

 

They can have the following fillings / frostings:

 

    Fresh Cream

 

    Vanilla Frosting

 

    Chocolate Frosting

 

    Lemon Frosting

 

    Cream Cheese Topping

 

    Strawberry Jam / Rasberry Jam / Lemon Curd

 

Cakes may contain nuts or nut products.

 

8. Cake Presentation & Storage

 

Each cake is decorated and finished by hand so some slight variations may be present.

 

Portions are provided as a guide only.

 

Models and characters should not be eaten as they may conatin non-edible items.

 

Tiered cakes will contain supporting dowels.  It is your / caterers responsibility to ensure these are removed before cutting and serving the cake. 

 

Keep cakes in a cool, dark place, away from direct heat or sunlight.

 

9.  Cancellations

 

If for some reason you wish to cancel your order charges will apply as follows:

 

More than 2 weeks notice in advance of required date - 50% of total order to be paid.

 

Less than 2 weeks notice given - non-refundable payment of total order in full required within 3 days.
